The City of Gladstone is excited to kick off our summer season with two fun events featured in one fun evening! This Tuesday, June 5th the Gladstone Community Center in cooperation with the Gladstone Arts Commission will be hosting a free art opening for the water colorist Denny Dowdy from 5:30-7:30pm at the Community Center located on 69 and N. Holmes. Then DIRECTLY following the art opening Cherry Bomb will perform at the Gladstone Amphitheatre in Oak Grove Park which is located at 76th and N. Troost from 7:30-9 pm. Cherry Bomb will be the first performance of the season, and is part of Gladstone's annual summer concert series June Tunes. Every Tuesday evening during the month of June you can enjoy the warm summer nights with a free outdoor concert! There will be a variety of performers for everyone's enjoyment.
